Goodbye–a taking of leave–as defined by Merriam-Webster’s dictionary.
Air Care Systems by Price, Inc. had to say a very difficult “Goodbye” this month.
Danny Joe Webb, or just “Joe,” had a final goodbye for all of us a few days ago. He worked for Air Care Systems since 2007. He was our second employee when we started in business in the Fort Smith area. He was our friend. He was our cut-up. He was our dad.
If you knew him, you knew you had a friend. He was likable, lovable, laughable, all rolled into one caring human being. He didn’t meet a stranger and after knowing him for two minutes, you didn’t feel like a stranger, either.
His position varied over the years. He could do nearly anything you asked of him, but he loved working on the farm best of all. He worked in residential new construction, ran parts for the warehouse, did whatever needed doing. If he got a cut he’d just stay “I’m controlling my blood pressure.” He gave nicknames to all the crew. Some were “Chrome Dome” or “The Professor.” He had a name and a reason behind the name for everyone.
A great joy to be around. He loved his family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was blessed to have some old enough to be able to work with him.
We will miss him greatly. If you needed service this month and we weren’t quite as quick or efficient as you felt we might have been, please understand the circumstances were not of our choosing. Air Care Systems by Price, Inc. has your best interest at heart and providing you with excellent service is our goal, but there are just times–like these times–when you have to step back and take care of family first. We hope you understand.
We Love YOU, Dad!
